IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title match announced for NJPW Destruction in Ryogoku

Matches added to Destruction in Ryogoku.

Over the weekend, New Japan Pro-Wrestling held their All Star Junior Festival event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the following day, they presented their joint show with IMPACT Wrestling titled Multiverse United 2. 

Both ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey and Lio Rush were set up as challengers to Hiromu Takahashi’s IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. It is now official that on October 9th at NJPW Destruction in Ryogoku, Takahashi is putting the title on the line in a three-way against Rush and Bailey.

In addition to that bout, Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA are challenging Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.

Joining the fray is a singles bout between Chase Owens and Tanga Loa.
