Khan is asked about Wheeler’s situation.
On Friday morning, AEW World Tag Team Champion Cash Wheeler was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred in late July and a warrant for Wheeler’s arrest was issued on the 28th of July.
AEW President Tony Khan hosted a media call ahead of All In and was asked about Wheeler’s ongoing situation and whether his involvement in All In was ever in doubt. Khan says he cannot comment on the specifics, but called it an inconclusive situation.
