AEW Collision performed nearly identically to the previous week’s episode while airing against the NFL pre-season and UFC 292 preliminary card.
The August 19 episode of Collision from Lexington averaged 482,000 viewers and 223,000 (0.17) in the 18-49 demographic, which ranked #13 among cable originals (Spoiler TV, Wrestlenomics)

Saturday’s cable numbers were led by the UFC 292 prelims with 1,235,000 (0.51 in 18-49) on ESPN featuring Chris Weidman vs. Brad Tavares in the featured fight. Collision also aired against the NFL pre-season coverage on the NFL Network, which averaged 1,561,000 viewers (0.43), and On Patrol Live with 872,000 (0.19).
In the 18-49 demo, they were identical to the previous week’s figures among males and females.
Adults 18-34 went from 75,000 to 78,000 this week, while adults 35-49 went from 148,000 to 146,000.
Wrestlenomics reported the quarter-hour performance with the peak viewership and the demo occurring in the opening fifteen minutes with 544,000 viewers and 240,000 in 18-49. It fell 16% in viewers and 13% in the demo in the second quarter. The final fifteen minutes of the show increased viewership by 14% from the previous quarter for the conclusion of Christian Cage vs. Darby Allin.
After ten episodes, AEW Collision is averaging 580,000 viewers and 261,000 (0.20) in 18-49. Outside of the debut episode on June 17, the most-watched episode was on July 29 for the FTR vs. MJF & Adam Cole tag title match, which averaged 729,000 viewers and 354,000 in the demo. The least-watched episode was the taped show from Hamilton that aired on July 1, although the lowest episode in the demo was on August 5 for the show airing against SummerSlam.
