AEW Dynamite scored its strongest 18-49 audience since Blood & Guts heading into this weekend’s All In event.
The Fyter Fest edition of Dynamite from Georgia averaged 870,000 viewers and 422,000 (0.32) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.
The audience was relatively similar to last week’s figures of 412,000 viewers and 412,000 in the demo, although this week’s 18-49 audience was its largest average since Blood & Guts on July 19.
In the 18-49 demo, male viewership grew 8% to 284,000 viewers this week while females in the demo were down by 7% at 139,000 viewers.
Adults 18-34 saw the greatest movement. While the demo was only down 1% from last week, the male viewership was up 31% with 107,000 viewers and its highest number since July 27. Conversely, females in the demo decreased by 36% to 47,000 viewers, which has been the lowest since that same program on July 27.
Adults 35-49 saw a 5% increase that was strengthened by female viewers growing 21% this week.
Wrestlenomics reports that the top performing quarter hour was the opening fifteen minutes with 961,000 viewers featuring the brawl between The Elite and Juice Robinson & The Gunn. In the 18-49 demographic, the top performing quarter was 9 – 9:15 p.m. ET for the Tornado Tag Match with Swerve Strickland & AR Fox vs. Darby Allin & Nick Wayne with 447,000 viewers in the demo.
The show included a five-minute overrun that led to a 2% viewership increase and a 5% gain in the demo from the final quarter.
In Canada, the show saw an average viewership of 116,100 viewers and 68,200 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2. It was the most-watched Dynamite in Canada since July 12 and ranked #4 among sports programming on Wednesday and #3 in the demo, which was led by the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles.
