Chad Gable will challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship next Monday on Raw.
Days before Gunther can set the record for the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion ever, he will defend the title against Gable in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Gable defeated Gunther by count-out on the August 21 edition of Raw which was Gunther’s first loss since being called up to the main roster after WrestleMania 38 in 2022.
Gunther’s streak as champion sits at 443 days and will surpass Honky Tonk Man’s record of 454 days next week on Saturday, September 9.
