WWE Raw saw a bump in viewership from last week’s episode with the program ranking first among cable originals on Monday.

The August 28 edition of Raw from Memphis averaged 1,677,000 viewers and 671,000 (0.51) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Spoiler TV.

Raw averaged 1,737,000 and 0.51 in the demo for the first hour, remained steady in hour two with 1,729,000, and peaked in the demo with 0.53 before falling 1,566,000 and 0.50 for the third hour.

The show was first among cable originals on Monday with a 5% increase in this week’s viewership average and a 3% bump in the 18-49 demographic for a two-week high for Raw.

In the key demo, male viewership saw an 8% increase from 459,000 to 494,000 viewers this week but women in the demo dropped 9% from 195,000 and 177,000.

Adults 18-34 fell by 15% from 253,000 to 214,000 and was Raw’s lowest 18-34 audience since February 13. The demo saw a decrease of 15% among males and 17% among women.

Adults 35-49 saw an increase from 401,000 to 457,000 with the jump entirely due to the male audience being up by 20% this week and there was a large number of men in that demo for a typical episode of Raw. Females in the demo were basically identical from the prior week.

In Canada, the show averaged 199,600 viewers and 78,800 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360, which was a sizable decline from last week’s numbers of 299,200 and 137,700 respectively. It was Raw’s lowest audience in Canada since July 31. For the night, Raw ranked #3 among sports programs and was led by the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Washington Nationals game.

The two-hour Raw replay at Midnight ET on Sportsnet 360 ranked #8 with 46,000 viewers and 24,700 in the 25-54 demo.

According to Wrestlenomics, the top performing quarter occurred between 9:45 – 10 p.m. ET for the ending of Chad Gable vs. Ludwig Kaiser, a video for the late Bob Barker, and the beginning of Seth Rollins’ promo with 1,759,000 viewers and 720,000 in the 18-49 demographic.

The show was promoted around a Falls Count Anywhere Match between Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark, which served as the show’s main event.
