NJPW honoring the life of Terry Funk.
On August 23rd, 2023, Terry Funk passed away at the age of 79. Tributes came raining in from those who have worked with Terry, watched him throughout his career and spent personal time with him.
Multiple companies and promotions honored Funk with either graphics, video packages or on-screen segments in Funk’s honor. New Japan Pro-Wrestling is going to be honoring him on September 8th prior to their Road to Destruction tour kicking off.
The company is doing a ten bell salute for the Hall of Famer.

Funk wrestled for New Japan on a handful of occasions. He last competed for the company at Wrestle Kingdom in 2010.
