Title matches added to Victory Road.
Next up on the docket for IMPACT Wrestling is their Victory Road special on September 8th. On the 8/31 IMPACT on AXS, three matches were added to the show lineup.
X Division Champion Lio Rush was approached by Ultimate X winner KUSHIDA who told Rush that he’s coming for him at Victory Road.
To start off the program, Alisha Edwards emerged victorious from a Battle Royal to earn a Knockouts World Title match. It was KiLynn King and Jody Threat who appeared to be the final two participants, but Edwards was never eliminated.
It is official that Jordynne Grace is returning to IMPACT at Victory Road. Deonna Purrazzo issued a challenge to Grace for the special. The pair last wrestled at Under Siege where Purrazzo got the win in their Knockouts World Title match.
