GUNTHER makes history.
Headlining the September 4th episode of Monday Night Raw was GUNTHER defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable.
The two talents competed for nearly 20 minutes and in the end, it was GUNTHER putting Gable away to retain his title. With the victory, GUNTHER is now set to become the longest-reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion in history, surpassing the record held by WWE Hall of Famer The Honky Tonk Man.
