Merton was honored by those who knew him.
It was shared by Bohemian Football Club that lifetime fan, long-term member and volunteer, Dean Merton, passed away. Merton, also known as ‘Alexander Dean’ and ‘Sean South’, wrestled across the United Kingdom.
He last wrestled this year and has competed for ICW in Scotland and wXw Germany. Merton’s in-ring career dates back to the early 2000s.
Becky Lynch along with OTT promoter Joe Cabray took to social media to send their condolences. Cabray wrestled Merton in the early 2000s.

He followed Bohs far and wide, rarely missed a game and so often drove his many friends to games.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Sean South (Dean Merton), who was a regular on the Irish wrestling scene. 35 is too young. Condolences to Dean’s family and friends. RIP.
