TMDK has been helpful to Fujita.
At NJPW New Year’s Dash, T.M.D.K. (Zack Sabre Jr., Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste) gained a new member when Sabre Jr. decided to add Kosei Fujita to the group. At the time, Fujita was a Young Lion who was a year-and-a-half into his in-ring career.
After the G1 Climax 33 wrapped up, Fujita graduated from his Young Lion status and is set to go on excursion. He spoke about his time with T.M.D.K. as he was being interviewed by NJPW1972.com. Fujita feels they’re closer than the other NJPW factions and brought up how they include him in outside the ring activities.
I think that we’re (T.M.D.K.) closer than any of the other factions. We have a lot of fun together, and we all get along outside of the ring. Even though I don’t know much English, they always invite me out to dinner, and Zack (Sabre Jr.) helps me understand what everyone’s talking about. It really isn’t just what you see, we all really gel behind the scenes as well.
Fujita’s colleague Ryohei Oiwa is on excursion in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Fujita has expressed that he wants to be overseas for his excursion.
