NXT experienced a minor uptick this week in its viewership figures featuring Bron Breakker vs. Von Wagner in the main event.

The September 5 episode averaged 673,000 viewers and 229,000 (0.18) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

The viewership average rose by 10% while the 18-49 audience grew by 8% over last week’s numbers. Excluding last week, it was still NXT’s lowest set of numbers since early July.

After a low female audience last week, there were rebounds across the board. Females 18-49 more than doubled from 43,000 last week to 88,000 for a three-week high. Females 18-34 grew from 23,000 to 37,000, and women 35-49 were up from 20,000 to 51,000.

Males 18-49 saw a decline from 169,000 to 140,000 or 17%, the exact same percentage loss among men 18-34 and men 35-49.

According to Wrestlenomics, the peak quarter was from 9 – 9:15 p.m. ET for Dragon Lee vs. Mustafa Ali with Dominik Mysterio as the special referee with 723,000 viewers and 254,000 in the demo.

In Canada, the show averaged 90,700 viewers and 48,400 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360 with the audience up 49% this week and the demo rising 121% from last week. NXT ranked #8 among sports programs on Tuesday, which was topped by the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Oakland A’s game. This was the most-watched episode of NXT in Canada since July 18.
