Tonight, IMPACT Wrestling’s Victory Road special is taking place and on 9/9, the company is taping the 1,000th episode of their weekly show.
Among the matches on the marquee for the 1,000th episode is a 10-woman tag that will feature TNA/IMPACT Hall of Famers Gail Kim and Awesome Kong tagging with Jordynne Grace, Knockouts World Champion Trinity Fatu and a mystery partner to face Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, Angelina Love and a mystery partner.
Kim spoke to Justin Barrasso for Sports Illustrated’s FanNation section and shared that getting the chance to tag with Trinity gives her goosebumps. Gail said she could not have asked for a better match and it’s a great reason to get back in the ring.

I didn’t even expect myself to be back, but it’s a special occasion. I found out about a month ago, and I get to work with amazing people. It’s going to be a celebration, a reunion, and some nostalgia that wrestling fans will love.
Before IMPACT 1000, Fatu is going to be putting her title on the line at Victory Road against Alisha Edwards.
