Fatu was happy with the bout and her opponent.

Present day, Trinity Fatu is the reigning IMPACT Knockouts World Champion and her next title defense is at Victory Road against Alisha Edwards.

Fatu became champion at Slammiversary by besting Deonna Purrazzo. She arrived to the company in April and her debut match was against KiLynn King. Fatu shared with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge that she cried happy tears after her IMPACT in-ring debut. She added that she’s glad her first opponent was KiLynn.

KiLynn King (is someone who I’ve had that ‘magic’ with in the ring). I had my debut match in IMPACT with her and I just felt like that was just so special and magical. I was so nervous and so scared after being off a year and having shoulder surgery. There was so much doubt within myself but when I got in there with her, it was just easy and it was fun and I was like, wow, this is what it’s supposed to be and feel like and I cried after that match because I was like, it felt so good and that’s how wrestling should feel and I was very happy that I had her as my first opponent on my return.

After Victory Road, Trinity will be in action at the IMPACT 1,000 taping. She is teaming with Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Jordynne Grace and a mystery partner to take on Angelina Love, Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans and a mystery partner.
