Big Japan’s Takuho Kato to retire from in-ring competition

In his mid-20s, Kato is stepping away from the ring. 

Big Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference to share the news that at the age of 25, their own Takuho Kato is retiring from in-ring competition. 

Kato has a select number of dates that he’ll be working for BJPW before retiring. He is scheduled for the promotion’s 9/17, 9/18, 9/23, 9/24, 9/25 and 9/28 shows.

Kato’s in-ring career began in 2017 with Big Japan.

Throughout his six-year career, he’s worked dates for All Japan, Pro Wrestling ZERO1 and multiple independent shows in Japan.
