Natalya and Shida named by Miyu Yamashita.

In May 2022, Miyu Yamashita tagged with Maki Itoh to take on Moka Miyamoto and two-time AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida at a Tokyo Joshi Pro event.

Over the summer of 2023, while Yamashita was in the USA, she visited Natalya and T.J. Wilson’s wrestling gym and worked out there. As Yamashita was doing a Q&A with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, she expressed interest in having singles bouts with both Natalya and Shida.

Of course, yes (I want to face Hikaru Shida). I have been wanting to have a singles match with her since our previous match. I am confident that it would be a great match if it comes to fruition in any way.

I think I have a lot to learn from her (Natalya). I like to train wrestling with her, and I would like to fight her someday.

Tokyo Joshi Pro has a show scheduled for September 23rd and Yamashita is going to be in action as a part of an eight-person tag match. Yamashita is also inching closer to a full year as Pro Wrestling: EVE Champion.
