Stratton is all for Cargill coming to WWE.
This past Tuesday during the NXT on USA Network broadcast, it was made official that Tiffany Stratton is getting her rematch for the NXT Women’s Championship at No Mercy as she goes one-on-one with Becky Lynch. Lynch bested Stratton for the title on 9/12.
Going into their match, Stratton was interviewed by Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co. She was asked about the idea of former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill making her way to WWE. Stratton said she’d be welcomed with open arms.
Yeah, for sure (Cargill would be welcomed with open arms in WWE). Bring her on in. I don’t know much about her. But I’ve seen photos of her and she’s beautiful. But yeah, I’m not sure what’s really going on there. So I guess we’ll see.
Moving back to the topic of Lynch versus Stratton, Tiffany feels they have great chemistry. She called Becky one of the greatest of all-time and cannot wait for their rematch.
I agree. I definitely think we have great chemistry, like you said. But it’s, I feel, like amazing to be even put on the same screen as Becky Lynch. She’s one of the greatest of all times, in my opinion. And I’m excited for this rematch. I can’t wait.
Per PWInsider, Jade Cargill was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida this week.
AEW President Tony Khan made the media rounds ahead of Dynamite Grand Slam and spoke highly of Cargill. He said she’s always welcome in AEW.
