Optus Stadium is hosting a WWE event.
WWE’s Premium Live Event calendar for early 2024 includes the annual Royal Rumble and following up on that will be the company’s return to Australia.
The announcement was pushed out that on February 24th, Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia is hosting Elimination Chamber.
This is going to be the first time WWE has run a stadium event in Australia since 2018 when they presented Super Show-Down at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Optus Stadium opened in 2018 and has a maximum set up of 70,000 for attendance.
Elimination Chamber 2023 emanated from Montreal, Quebec, Canada and was headlined by Sami Zayn challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
