The West Coast Wrecking Crew’s Royce Isaacs has confirmed he is a free agent and said there is interest in a deal from the ‘bigger TV companies’.

Isaacs was speaking with Lewis Carlan for Bodyslam.net. He and his tag partner Jorel Nelson have been a feature of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s US scene for several years, regularly appearing on NJPW STRONG.

During the interview, Isaacs was asked about his contract status with New Japan.

He replied:

I’m still a free agent unfortunately, still trying to find someone to put a ring on it…I don’t know how to say this without being like super cryptic and sounding like I’m just making things up or whatever but I will say in the past few days without getting into super details that I do have people that are that are starting to be interested in me in some of these bigger TV companies so we’ll see.

Isaacs added that the “ideal” would be a contract with NJPW.

Elsewhere in the interview, Isaacs said that he and Nelson deserved to be part of November’s NJPW World Tag League, adding, “New Japan has been really great to Jorel and myself but I would honestly be really pissed if we’re not in Tag League.”
