Chris Brookes off DDT’s 9/30 & 10/1 shows due to discomfort in right shoulder

Brookes is getting his shoulder checked on.

Prior to Chris Brookes going on to capture DDT Pro-Wrestling’s KO-D Openweight Championship at Wrestle Peter Pan, he suffered a dislocated right shoulder. Brookes was sidelined for the month of June and made his in-ring return on July 7th.

Brookes is now experiencing discomfort in his right shoulder and DDT has decided to pull him from their September 30th and October 1st shows. They will announce his return to the ring after his examination.

Thus far, Brookes has successfully defended the title against Shigehiro Irie and Saki Akai.

After DDT’s 9/24 show, a future title defense was set up as Brookes is defending the KO-D Openweight Title against Yuki Ueno at Ultimate Party on November 12th.

Also scheduled for Ultimate Party is IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi in action, Matt Cardona defending the DDT Universal Title against MAO, Chris Jericho going one-on-one with Konosuke Takeshita and Saki Akai’s final match before she retires.
