Kelani wants Blair at No Mercy.
There was supposed to be a singles match between Blair Davenport and Gigi Dolin on the 9/26 NXT on USA Network. Davenport ambushed Dolin beforehand and the match did not take place.
After the show went off the air, WWE pushed out a backstage interview that Kelly Kincaid conducted with Kelani Jordan. Jordan stated that she saw what Davenport did, so she’s calling her out for a match at No Mercy on September 30th.
It was mentioned during the interview that it’s been a rough couple of days for Jordan, referencing Dana Brooke’s departure from WWE. Jordan and Brooke were paired together in NXT.
Kincaid stated that a lot of people view Jordan as a favorite for the Women’s Breakout tournament. The bracket for that tourney is going to be revealed at this weekend’s Premium Live Event.
