The No Mercy lineup is rounded out.
As a result of Mustafa Ali being released from WWE, a new challenger to Dominik Mysterio’s NXT North American Championship at No Mercy had to be determined.
A Triple Threat match was set up involving Tyler Bate, Axiom and Dragon Lee. Earlier in the night, Trick Williams defeated Joe Gacy and then visited Shawn Michaels and asked to be added to the Triple Threat. Williams was added and he emerged victorious. He’ll be challenging Mysterio at No Mercy. Dragon Lee is going to be the special guest referee for the bout. Mysterio defeated Lee on Monday Night Raw to retain the North American Title.
In addition to that, NXT Tag Team Champions Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo opted to defend their titles in a four-way tag match against The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed), Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo along with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price.
