There was a segment on the 9/25 Monday Night Raw where Tegan Nox approached NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Lynch told Nox that after her title defense against Tiffany Stratton at No Mercy, she wants Nox to step up. Later in the program, Nox and Natalya argued about the opportunity for the title shot so they went one-on-one and Tegan defeated Natalya. It is now official that on 10/2, Nox will challenge either Lynch or Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Closing out the program was an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title match between the champions, Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Bálor, and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The likes of J.D. McDonagh, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio got involved. In the end, it was McDonagh hitting Zayn with the title to help Judgment Day retain. The two sides brawled as the show went off the air.

The aforementioned Mysterio put his title on the line against Dragon Lee. He successfully held onto the title. During the match, Michael Cole name-dropped Lee’s father, La Bestia del Ring. Dominik was supposed to put the North American Title on the line at No Mercy against Mustafa Ali, but Ali was released from WWE

GUNTHER is going to be defending his Intercontinental Championship against Tommaso Ciampa. They’ll be doing a contract signing on 10/2. Ciampa was in action on the 9/25 Raw and scored a win over Ludwig Kaiser. Giovanni Vinci, who was ringside, was laid out by Ciampa. Kaiser tried to take advantage of the unfocused Ciampa but the referee was focused on getting Vinci out of the ring so he missed Kaiser having him down for the count. As Kaiser went to kick Vinci out of the ring, Ciampa regained control and picked up the win.

Nia Jax defeated Zoey Stark in singles competition. It was Nia’s first match on Raw since September 20th, 2021 against Stark’s tag partner, Shayna Baszler.

There was an interview segment with Ricochet and he appeared on crutches. He had been ambushed by Shinsuke Nakamura. Ricochet stated that him and Shinsuke have unfinished business.

A singles match between Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston took place. Kingston became distracted by Ivar beating down Xavier Woods on the outside. McIntyre capitalized and got the win. McIntyre did not come back to the ring to help Kingston while he was being attacked by Ivar.
