The Butcher feels fellow wrestlers who compete on television should be watching Spears.
Joining Sam Roberts for a recording of his Notsam Wrestling podcast was AEW talent, ‘The Butcher’ Andy Williams. As their conversation rolled on, Williams began to heap praise onto fellow AEW talent Shawn Spears.
He spoke about Spears’ knowledge of how to wrestle on television and the experience he garnered in WWE. Williams expressed that if you’re a wrestler on television, you should be watching Spears and explained why.
Shawn Spears, watching Shawn Spears, he understands TV wrestling so much that if you’re a wrestler and you wrestle on TV and you don’t watch Shawn Spears, you’re an idiot, because everything he does is so intentional… He came from the WWE system where that’s all TV wrestling. So that’s what I do, you know what I mean? So when I watch Roman Reigns, I see the artform. It’s beautiful man.
