Hikaru Shida will be the next contender for the AEW Women’s Championship.
Shida defeated Ruby Soho in a #1 Contenders match on the September 29 edition of AEW Rampage, which was taped two nights earlier in Broomfield, Colorado.
The match served as the main event of Rampage and will set up Shida to challenge Saraya for the championship on the ‘Title Tuesday’ edition of AEW Dynamite on October 10.

It is the first match announcement for the Tuesday special, which will see Dynamite air head-to-head with NXT.
The Tuesday episode of Dynamite takes place from the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri.
