Starlight Kid out of action “for the time being” due to ankle injury

Starlight Kid has sustained an injury that will remove her from Stardom’s pay-per-view card.

The promotion announced that the performer has suffered an ankle injury and will be out of action “for the time being.”

Starlight Kid was set to face Mayu Iwatani on Saturday’s pay-per-view on the final night of the 5-Star Grand Prix.

Starlight Kid was part of the Red Stars block and had four points going into the final night and will forfeit the match.

She joins Saya Kamitani and Utami Hayashishita as performers who were injured during the Grand Prix and had to forfeit matches.
