Asuka is heading back to NXT.
There was a Triple Threat match on the 10/3 WWE NXT involving Indi Hartwell, Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez to determine who is challenging Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship on night one of Halloween Havoc.
Perez hit a top rope maneuver onto Hartwell and followed up with a pin, but she was pulled out of the ring by Kiana James. Lyra Valkyria ended up securing the title opportunity.
In a backstage interview, James explained why she went after Perez and then stated that if Perez wants a match against her, she’ll have to get past five-time WWE Women’s Champion Asuka next week.
Asuka is going to be in a Triple Threat for the WWE Women’s Championship this Saturday at WWE Fastlane.
