Mysterio becomes a two-time North American Champion.
Closing out the 10/3 WWE NXT was a rematch from No Mercy. Dominik Mysterio challenged newly crowned North American Champion Trick Williams for the title.
The numbers game got to Williams as he had to deal with all of Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Finn Bálor & J.D. McDonagh) being ringside and getting involved in the match. Dominik Mysterio ended up securing the victory to become a two-time North American Champion.
Earlier in the night, Carmelo Hayes offered to be in Williams’ corner, but Trick declined after Dominik made a comment about Williams being champion but still being in Carmelo’s shadow.
