Saki Akai’s final match.
Coming up on November 12th, DDT Pro-Wrestling is presenting their Ultimate Party event from Ryōgoku Sumo Hall. Dating back to earlier this year, it had been determined that Saki Akai would be retiring from in-ring competition after her final bout on 11/12.
The participants for her final match have been determined. She’ll be tagging with Hideki Okatani and Yukio Sakaguchi, who she holds the KO-D and AJPW TV Six-Man Tag Team Championships with. They are set to take on Naomichi Marufuji, Kazusada Higuchi and Miyu Yamashita.
At DDT’s 9/30 show, Akai won the promotion’s Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship but lost the title that same night.
In addition to Akai’s retirement bout, here is the announced lineup for DDT Ultimate Party:
