Alex Shelley will defend the IMPACT Championship against Jonathan Gresham if he retains the title at Bound for Glory.
IMPACT has announced the 1-on-1 championship match for the October 22 television tapings at Cicero Stadium – one day after the Bound for Glory pay-per-view.
Shelley will defend the IMPACT Championship against Josh Alexander on the October 21 event.

The promotion has also announced Josh Alexander vs. Will Ospreay for the October 22 tapings, which will become a title match if Alexander wins the championship.
This will be Shelley and Gresham’s first 1-on-1 match in IMPACT Wrestling after previous singles matches in Ring of Honor, PWG, and Warrior Wrestling.
