There are new STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions.
El Phantasmo and Hikuelo won the STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions from Gabe Kidd & Alex Coughlin on Monday’s Destruction in Ryogoku card.
The ending of the match saw Coughlin left alone in the ring to absorb a superkick from El Phantasmo followed by the Godsend as ELP took out Kidd with a tope suicida. Phantasmo leaped to the top rope to land Thunderkiss ’86 and pinned Coughlin to secure the belts.
Coughlin & Kidd won the titles on July 4 from Bishamon while El Phantasmo & Hikuleo became the fifth team to hold the titles, which were created last year.
