Seth Rollins agrees to defend WWE World Heavyweight Title against Drew McIntyre at Crown Jewel

First title program set up for Crown Jewel.

Kicking off the 10/9 Monday Night Raw was WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, who retained his championship in the main event of Fastlane. Rollins bested Shinsuke Nakamura in a Last Man Standing match at the Premium Live Event.

Coming out to the ring as Rollins was speaking was Drew McIntyre. Rollins was aware that McIntyre showed up for a shot at the title and then it was McIntyre who suggested the bout take place November 4th at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

Rollins agreed and they shook hands. As McIntyre was exiting camera’s view, Damian Priest ambushed Rollins from behind and then Dominik Mysterio came out with Priest’s Money in the Bank briefcase in hand. Before Mysterio could get the briefcase to Priest, McIntyre stopped him and chucked the briefcase to the front of the stage.

The most recent singles match between McIntyre and Rollins was at Money in the Bank 2020 where McIntyre defeated Rollins to retain the WWE Championship.
