Earlier this year, Young challenged for the TNT Title.

In the summer of 2022, former ROH World Television Champion Silas Young had two matches on AEW Dynamite. One of his bouts was a singles against Hangman Adam Page and the other was in a trios against Wardlow and FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).

This year, he’s sporadically competed for AEW/ROH. Young wrestled under AEW’s Ring of Honor banner five times in 2023, most recently in September. He told Developmentally Speaking that he hopes the dates he’s worked for AEW/ROH leads to a job with the company.

I’m still working pretty regularly. Still doing shows, basically almost every weekend. I’ve been lucky enough to do some stuff with AEW and basically every time they bring me there, they put me in a good position, they give me a good match. So it’s been good. I hope, honestly, the next few months to a year that maybe it turns into a job.

Young is continuing to work independent dates. He is a regular for the AAW promotion based in the Midwest. Young is in the midst of his 21st year as a pro wrestler.
