Stratus was also asked if people will ever see her in another wrestling company.

At WWE Payback, Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus kicked off the Premium Live Event with a Steel Cage match that put a bow on Stratus’ run with the company. She returned earlier this year and was a constant on Monday Night Raw.

Stratus was the focus of a Q&A session at Big Texas Comic Con (via Tales From The Collection: Autographs & Fan Mail) and she explained what it would take for her to come back and do another run with WWE.

But again, I’ve been asked by people here (at Big Texas Comic Con), ‘Are you coming back? Do you want to do another run?’ But this is the thing, I’m like… the boxes it has to check. One is the creative. What is the creative? What am I going to come back and do? Is it going to check these boxes? So, I always turn it back to people and go, ‘I might go back but who should I face?’ Tell me, I wanna know.

Elsewhere during the Q&A, Stratus was asked if people will ever see her in another wrestling company and she responded with the following:

Probably not (Stratus said when asked if she’ll be seen in another wrestling company other than WWE).

Circling back to her recent run, Stratus touched on the match she had with Raquel Rodriguez on the 6/19 Raw. She stated that she loves selling for bigger talent. Stratus told Rodriguez that it’s too bad their roles weren’t reversed at the time. Stratus was a heel and Raquel was a babyface.

I’m always up for a challenge and honestly, I do enjoy… I was a heel this time (for my latest WWE run) but my underdog story, my little coming from behind is kind of my thing. It has been my thing for many years. So, when I was booked for example — and this is behind the scenes information but, when I was booked with Rodriguez, Raquel and I… she was super excited and I said to her, ‘Too bad you’re not the heel and I’m the babyface.’ But being swung around and thrown around, that’s kind of my thing. My body’s my amusement. Being a ragdoll for these people. This is what I like to do (she laughed). I took my spinal cord out for that and away we went. No, you can’t do that. Don’t try that at home kids. But yeah, I love selling, I love working for the bigger girl and I just love making things look crazier than other people make it look.

The WWE Hall of Famer wrestled in a total of 10 matches during her return run. Stratus was a part of WrestleMania 39, Night of Champions, Money in the Bank and capped it off at Payback.

Becky Lynch spoke about their Steel Cage match and commented on their bout being left off SummerSlam. To read more, click here
