Lonestar Shootout is taking place November 10th.

At the end of this month, NJPW STRONG is presenting Fighting Spirit Unleashed on the 28th from Las Vegas, Nevada. Several weeks after the event, New Japan STRONG is hosting another special in the USA titled Lonestar Shootout.

The company pushed out the announcement that Mayu Iwatani is going to be defending her IWGP Women’s Championship at Lonestar Shootout on 11/10 in Garland, Texas.

Mayu has been reigning as IWGP Women’s Champion since STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom where she defeated Mercedes Moné to become champion. Iwatani has defended the belt once since the initial title win.

At the NJPW x STARDOM joint strategy presentation, it was officially announced that the movie about Iwatani’s life, ‘Runaway Wrestler’, will be released in theaters in Japan in May 2024.
