YOH chooses MUSASHI as his partner for NJPW Super Junior Tag League

YOH showed up at Michinoku Pro’s anniversary show.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s 2023 Super Junior Tag League tournament is set to begin on October 21st. There are 10 teams in this year’s tourney and one of the advertised teams was YOH and a partner that was to be determined. 

At part two of Michinoku Pro Wrestling’s 30th Anniversary event, YOH made an appearance and he selected MUSASHI to be his partner for Super Junior Tag League. 

MUSASHI is a two-time MPW Junior Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion. He’s been wrestling since 2010 and has been working with Michinoku Pro since he began his in-ring career. He’s also competed for NOAH, DDT, GLEAT, Big Japan and All Japan. 

Now that YOH has selected his partner, here is the updated list of teams in this year’s Super Junior Tag League:

  • Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita
  • TJP & Francesco Akira
  • BUSHI & Titán
  • Master Wato & El Desperado

  • The D.K.C. & Ryusuke Taguchi
  • Kevin Knight & KUSHIDA
  • DOUKI & TAKA Michinoku
