An update from Sammy Guevara.

It was at AEW WrestleDream on October 1st that Sammy Guevara was last in action. As a part of The Don Callis Family, Guevara teamed with Konosuke Takeshita and IWGP U.S. (U.K.) Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay to defeat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi.

Coming out of the event, it had been reported by Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline that Guevara suffered a concussion at the event. Guevara took to his X account and posted a photo of himself with a BrainScope One around his head. BrainScope One is an FDA cleared concussion tool.

Guevara noted that he is not cleared, but he’s feeling better every day. Here’s his complete post:

Good news, bad news.
Bad news I’m not cleared yet.
Good news everyday I’m feeling better.

Sorry Houston I really wanted to put on a show for y’all. Hopefully next time.

Also Fuck Chris Jericho.

While the most recent Dynamite was in picture-in-picture, Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita had cue cards lined up and one of the cards noted that Guevara would be back soon.
