Konnan would want it to be one of the last things he does in wrestling.
Going into WrestleMania 39, Rey Mysterio was the headliner for the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame class. The day after the ceremony, he went on to defeat his son Dominik Mysterio in a singles match.
Inducting Rey into the Hall of Fame was Konnan. While guest appearing on Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz, Konnan expressed that he’d like to do something with Rey and Dominik in wrestling before he’s completely out of the business. He stated that he’d want that to be one of the last things he does in the sport.
So I always wanted to do something with Eddie Guerrero and that obviously was never gonna happen but I would love to do something with Rey and Dominik (Mysterio) before I just — you know, that would be the last thing I’d ever wanna do in wrestling.
At IMPACT Wrestling’s post-Bound For Glory television tapings, Konnan is scheduled to be present. IMPACT is going to be celebrating lucha libre and Konnan will be in attendance along with Black Taurus, Juventud Guerrera, Samuray Del Sol and Laredo Kid.
