As Before the IMPACT was airing, the host of the show, George Iceman, teased a surprise appearance for Bound For Glory on October 21st. He stated that it looks like a flight, hotel, and transportation have been set up for someone to be at the pay-per-view in Cicero, Illinois.

On the marquee for Bound For Glory is Alex Shelley defending the IMPACT World Championship against Josh Alexander. IMPACT President Scott D’Amore hosted an interview with the two talents. It concluded with Shelley walking off after Alexander stated that deep down, Shelley feels like a transitional champion and that’s why he continues to accuse Alexander of thinking of him as one.

Moose and Brian Myers picked up a win over PCO and Rhino. During the bout, Steve Maclin got involved and went after Rhino. Bully Ray would make his way down to the ringside area and he stopped Maclin’s attack. Later in the show, Rhino caught up with Bully and told him that he does not trust him and does not need his help.

In the main event of the 10/12 IMPACT on AXS, Frankie Kazarian defeated Eddie Edwards in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match. A post-match video featuring Kazarian aired on 10/19. He expressed that his feud with Eddie was never about hate and was always about respect.

Opening the 10/19 IMPACT on AXS was a singles match between Samuray Del Sol and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey. Bailey emerged victorious.
