If Lyra wins the NXT Women’s Title, she’ll be looking to defend against Cargill.
On this past Tuesday’s episode of NXT on USA Network, former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill made her second consecutive appearance on the program. Cargill has appeared on Raw and SmackDown as well.
This week’s appearance from Cargill came via video. Lyra Valkyria was backstage and ripped up a photo of herself and Becky Lynch ahead of their NXT Women’s Championship match at Halloween Havoc. After Valkyria exited camera’s view, Cargill was shown on-screen.
Lyra told Busted Open Radio that she hopes Cargill joins the NXT roster and if she defeats Lynch, she’ll be looking to defend the title against Jade.
Yes (I’m hoping Jade Cargill lands in NXT). Absolutely. I know there’s a lot of hype and people wondering where she’s gonna go but, if I win that championship, she’d be someone that I’d have my eye on and I would absolutely love to go up against.
