Kinya Okada & Yasutaka Yano arrested on suspicion of touching woman in obscene manner in April 2023

The incident occurred in April. 

According to a report from TBS NEWS DIG, Kinya Okada and Yasutaka Yano were arrested on suspicion of touching a woman in her 20s in an ‘obscene manner’ on April 16th 2023. The situation involving the wrestlers and victim occurred at a building in Sendai, Japan at 12:30 AM. 

As of this writing, details are scarce, but at the time of the incident, Kinya and Yasutaka were in Sendai for a show that Pro Wrestling NOAH held on April 16th at Xebio Arena Sendai. On the day of, the woman reported the incident to the police and they began to investigate. 

Kinya and Yasutaka did not compete at the 4/16 NOAH show. One month later, NOAH announced that both Kinya and Yasutaka’s contracts were terminated. At the time, there was no explanation for why they were no longer with the promotion.
