WWE Raw notes: Nick Aldis apologizes to Adam Pearce, Logan Paul & Dominik Mysterio, DIY

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis showed up on the 10/23 Raw and apologized to Adam Pearce for having him and Jey Uso escorted from the venue during the 10/20 Friday Night SmackDown. Later in the program, Aldis opted to leave the show after Pearce caught him chatting with Raw’s Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. 

Ricochet went after Logan Paul and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio. Paul and Mysterio invited Ricochet’s fiancée Samantha Irvin to the ring. Paul wanted her to preview the ring announcement if Paul is to defeat Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel. Scheduled for the 10/30 Raw is a singles bout between Dominik and Ricochet. 

As Johnny Gargano was going one-on-one with Giovanni Vinci, Tommaso Ciampa appeared and ran off Ludwig Kaiser from ringside. Gargano was able to secure the win and on 10/30, the former NXT Tag Team Champions Gargano and Ciampa are taking on Kaiser and Vinci. 

While Drew McIntyre was facing Sami Zayn, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley got involved and distracted Zayn which McIntyre followed up on to secure the win. 

NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch successfully defended her championship against Indi Hartwell. Post-match, Lynch went face-to-face with Lyra Valkyria who she is putting her title on the line against at NXT Halloween Havoc. 

Natalya brought Nikki Cross out to be her partner in a tag bout against WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Cross walked off mid-match and Natalya lost the contest. 

The following matches are set for 10/30: 

  • Seth Rollins vs. J.D. McDonagh
  • Xia Li vs. Candice LeRae
