The Maine-based Limitless Wrestling group has been forced to cancel its event this weekend due to the safety issues after this week’s shooting.

The promotion made the announcement that its Fresh Blood ’23 card set for Saturday night in Yarmouth has been canceled “due to public safety concerns following the mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, of which the alleged gunman has yet to be found as of this writing.”

Those who purchased tickets will be able to use them for their December 16 card in the same venue or can contact the promotion for a full refund.

At least eighteen people were killed in a mass shooting on Wednesday evening in Lewiston where the suspect opened fire at a recreation center and a restaurant.

The search for the suspect continues with multiple shelter-in-place orders in effect.
