Ronda Rousey has impromptu match at Lucha VaVoom

Ronda Rousey made an unannounced return to the ring on Thursday night at the Lucha VaVoom event in California.

Rousey was in attendance and got involved with long-time friend Marina Shafir which led to an impromptu match against Brian Kendrick & Taya Valkyrie.

Rousey posted:

@luchavavoom was honestly the best Lucha/burlesque hybrid show I’ve ever had the pleasure of jumping into unannounced. Anyone who doubted me and @marinashafir could make magic in a ring is an idiot – thank you @thetayavalkyrie and @mr.briankendrick for being down to get down with us

The full match was posted on Rousey’s Instagram page:

This was Rousey’s first “match” outside of WWE and the first one since losing to Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam this past August at Ford Field in Detroit.
