The first batch of matches pushed out for Lonestar Shootout.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling held their Fighting Spirit Unleashed event on October 28th and coming out of the event, there were multiple matches set up for Lonestar Shootout on November 10th in Garland, Texas.
There are five championship matches currently set for Lonestar Shootout. Seven matches in total have been announced, one of which is the NJPW debut of Joey Janela who’ll be taking on Toru Yano. Here is the complete lineup for the event:
- NEVER Openweight Championship: Shingo Takagi (c) vs. Trent Beretta
- NJPW World Television Championship: Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey
- IWGP Women’s Championship: Mayu Iwatani (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer
- NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship: Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Satoshi Kojima
- NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships: Hikuleo & El Phantasmo (c) vs. West Coast Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs)
- TJP vs. Místico
- Toru Yano vs. Joey Janela
The IWGP Women’s Title bout is going to be Mayu Iwatani’s first defense of the championship in the USA. She won the belt from Mercedes Moné in April at STARDOM All Star Grand Queendom.
