Hayes looks back at his run in NXT.

On night two of NXT Halloween Havoc, Carmelo Hayes will have the opportunity to become a two-time NXT Champion when he challenges the reigning champion Ilja Dragunov

To promote the bout, Hayes has been making the media rounds and one of the outlets he chatted with was PWInsider. He expressed that he’s satisfied with what he’s done in NXT and feels he’s accomplished everything there is to accomplish on the brand.

I feel very satisfied with everything I’ve done in NXT. I feel like I’ve helped build the brand back up. I feel like I’ve been a cornerstone to the success of NXT 2.0. I feel very satisfied. I feel like I’ve accomplished everything there is to accomplish there. My relationships that I’ve built there, everything that, you know, I’m willing to give back if I need to get back in. The next step for me is whenever they’re ready to let me go, I’m ready to take that next step.

In the past, Carmelo has had talks with Shawn Michaels about potentially joining the main roster. To read a recap of their conversation, head over to this link

After Halloween Havoc night two concludes, head over to the POST Wrestling YouTube channel for a review of the show.
