A venue that TNA Wrestling wanted to run was MSG.

Starting in 2024, IMPACT Wrestling is reverting to the TNA name. The relaunch of the brand is going to kick-start at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view.

TNA Wrestling was the centerpiece of a conversation on the Refin’ It Up podcast when Craig Jenkins, former TNA live events coordinator joined the show. Jenkins shared that TNA wanted to run Madison Square Garden, but former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had the venue ‘locked down’.

Madison Square Garden (was a venue that TNA wanted to run). Yeah, Vince (McMahon) had that locked down, and I think we wanted to do a show there… I can’t think of one we couldn’t get into though outside of that, because Vince just had, you know, Madison Square Garden locked down.

As far as Jenkins’ time in TNA, he enjoyed the people he met and friends he made but stated that he is not going back to the company.

I have an enormous joy in my heart for the people I met and traveled with, but, upper management outside of Dean Broadhead and Andy Barton… I ain’t going back. Let me just put it to you like that.

IMPACT Wrestling is coming off a tour of the United Kingdom. The company’s President Scott D’Amore confirmed plans to return to the U.K. in 2024.
