Erik is going to be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
One-half of The Viking Raiders, Erik, has not wrestled since a WWE Main Event taping on September 11th. His partner Ivar has been venturing into singles competition and he’s been flanked by Valhalla (Sarah Logan), who is the wife of Erik.
Erik shared on his Instagram page that he underwent successful C6/C7 neck fusion surgery. He shared a photo of himself and Sarah at Ascension St. Vincent’s Birmingham hospital in Alabama. Here’s his full post:

C6 / C7 fusion surgery was successful and recovery begins now.
I’m excited for all the possibilities once my cybernetic upgrades come fully online.
Erik joked in the comment section that him and Ivar’s new tag team name when he returns is going to be the ‘Neck Fusion Experience’.
The Viking Raiders are former NXT and Raw Tag Team Champions. On the 11/6 Monday Night Raw, Ivar will be competing in a Fatal 4-Way to determine the next challenger to GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship.
