For the first time since winning the NXT Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch at Halloween Havoc night one, the new champion Lyra Valkyria appeared on NXT.
Before hitting the ring to address the crowd, Valkyria was shown chatting with cheerleader, YouTuber and TV personality, Gabi Butler. NXT commentator Vic Joseph called Butler a ‘WWE ambassador’.
In November 2022, Butler signed an N.I.L. deal with WWE. Butler began training at the WWE Performance Center. As of late 2022, she had two years of eligibility left for college athletics. She gained notoriety from starring in the Netflix series ‘Cheer’.
