The TNA Championship Match is set for Hard to Kill in January.

As IMPACT Wrestling rebrands to its original TNA namesake, Alex Shelley will be recognized as the TNA Heavyweight Champion and is defending his title against Moose at Hard to Kill.

Moose claimed the right to challenge for the title after securing one of the four briefcases in the “Feast or Fired” match, which was part of IMPACT 1000.

The match joins the previously announced Knockouts Championship match between Trinity and Jordynne Grace on the January 13 pay-per-view event at The Palms in Las Vegas.

Shelley has held the title since June when he defeated Steve Maclin at Against All Odds in Columbus, Ohio.

Moose previously held the IMPACT Championship from October 2021 until April 2022.
